The arranged marriage

He gave his word to a dying man... and lost the life he had planned.

Senior Inspector Daya never flinched from danger. But nothing prepared him for the quiet bungalow in Dehradun, where the mentor he respected most lay dying, and asked for the one thing Daya could never freely give.

Marry my daughter.

Shreya is twenty, soft-spoken, and completely unaware that her father's last wish has already decided her future. When the DCP's final breath seals Daya's promise in front of her broken sobs, there is no escape.

Now the man of integrity must face the girl locked in grief... and the girlfriend waiting in Mumbai who still believes their future is safe.

One promise.
Two hearts.
And a choice that will destroy someone either way.

Will duty bind him forever... or will the truth finally set them free?
