The weight of echoes

Two Legends. One Secret. A Rivalry Built to Break the Ice.
For over a decade, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov defined professional hockey.
To the sports world, they were the ultimate clash of titans: Shane, the hyper-tactical, pristine captain of the Montreal Metros, and Ilya, the unstoppable, fiery offensive juggernaut of the Boston Raiders. Their fierce rivalry captivated millions and rewrote the league's history books.
But behind Shane's rigid self-control and flawless execution lay a suffocating double life. Haunted since childhood by an isolating supernatural burden-and terrified that exposure would destroy everything he had sacrificed to build-Shane kept the world at arm's length behind impenetrable walls.
No one could break through his cold, carefully engineered isolation. Except for the one man who refused to leave him in the dark.
What began in the shadows as a guarded, hidden connection between two fiercest rivals slowly forged into an unbreakable bond. Together, Shane and Ilya must navigate the intense spotlight of professional sports, the threat of public exposure, and the deeply personal ghosts of Shane's past.
Sweeping from the deafening roar of packed arenas in Montreal and Boston to the tranquil, sunlit silence of the Laurentian mountains, Canvas and Ice is an unforgettable story of rivalry, redemption, and a devotion strong enough to shatter the cold and bring two champions into the light.
