Elias Bennett has always believed in being a good person.

His mother taught him one simple lesson before she was gone:

Be kind.

Elias carries those words with him as he grows older, trying to live by them in a world that isn't always kind in return.

But being good doesn't mean being perfect.

Elias is human. He makes mistakes. He makes the wrong choices. He hurts people, gets hurt, and struggles with parts of himself he doesn't always understand.

And somewhere between love, loss, and growing up, Elias begins to discover that being human means failing sometimes.
