Taken by fate

Jude Bellingham is walking to a shop one night when a car pulls up beside him. A stranger asks if he needs a ride, but Jude refuses and continues walking. Before he can get away, he is forced into the car and everything goes black.

When Jude wakes up, he discovers he has been taken by Erling Haaland.

But Erling soon realizes something is wrong.

He thought Jude was someone called Jobe.

Jude insists he isn't Jobe, and Erling realizes he has kidnapped the wrong person. However, instead of simply letting Jude go, Erling becomes increasingly confused by the situation and begins asking questions about Jude's family.

Jude discovers that there is a connection between him and Jobe that he doesn't understand.

Then Jude's mother arrives.

Instead of explaining everything, she makes the situation even more confusing. Jude realizes that she knows something about Jobe but refuses to answer his questions. When she tries to take Jude away, Erling unexpectedly decides to stop her.

From that moment, Jude begins to realize that Erling may not be the person he originally thought he was.

Jude tries to escape, but he fails. As time passes, Erling begins looking after him, helping him when he feels unwell and making sure he isn't left alone.

Slowly, Jude starts to feel safe around Erling.

Whenever Erling helps him or reassures him, Jude experiences a strange feeling in his chest that he can't quite explain. After everything he's been through, being around Erling becomes one of the few times Jude feels like he can finally relax.

But there are still countless unanswered questions.

Who is Jobe?

Why was Jude never told about him?

Why does Erling know about Jobe?

And why does Jude's mother seem so determined to keep the truth hidden?

Jude knows that until he discovers the answers, he won't truly understand what happened that night.
