Nico di Angelo is a Guardian--a near-human species that has gone nearly extinct and is hardly known outside of minority religious circles. But despite Will's desire for a friend, the truth about his stalker makes him rethink everything. Nico and Will meet, accuse each other of trying to kill each other, and slowly learn to lean on each other. The only problem with their deepening relationship: Guardians and humans have a sacred pact to prevent war between species--and rule number one is that there shall be no romance between Guardians and humans. After a wild party on the last day of Junior year, Will Solace may have...accidentally...got way caught up in the alcohol. He may even had hooked up with someone who, in a million years, he would never hook up with. Especially when it risked revealing his sexuality he had been repressing for years. Although, he doesn't entirely remember it, and neither does Nico di Angelo-the annoying know-it-all who always seemed to be more focused on studying than partying. In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position. Things such as Nico di Angelo, the boy that showed up at the hospital with an unconscious girl. But that wasn't all. There was a sickness that was sweeping through Oregon (that's where the story takes place) that's putting Will's father in a difficult place as a doctor. Lately, Will has been a few minutes late to class, because he was helping his dad down at the hospital. The rules had been infinitely changed, because the hospital needed sensible help and a lot of it; and Will was perfect for the job. And then Nico showed up with his sister in his arms. Little did Will know, everyone in the state of Oregon would be battling the sickness that threatened to wipe out everyone. P.S: This whole story is pretty much a trigger warning. Enjoy!Complete
What If Three Days Meant Forever?
Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate?
