The Roommate Situation

Rutvi Kulkarni. A girl who grew up with her made-up grandparents after her mother left her as an infant. She made her peace with not having a family early on, only to grow up as a person obsessed with having control, be it her career or how her dishes are washed, and develop an unhealthy attachment to feeling loved, even if it meant letting people use her.

Abeer Joshi. A kid who never got to know who his parents were, finally feels chosen when he is adopted, only to find out that there are conditions to love. Growing up in silence, he learnt to keep it to himself, lead his life exactly the way he maps out, loves hard and unconditionally, until he is accused of not doing enough to save his relationships.

One year later, Rutvi is in a depleting financial curve, forced to go through her worst nightmare of subletting her apartment, and Abeer, who couldn't be under the same roof as his adoptive parents for another day without severing their bond, desperately needs to move out.

Situation brings Rutvi and Abeer not only face to face, but under one roof. But Rutvi has said goodbye to casual relationships for good, and Abeer has no intention of falling for anybody after his broken engagement. But with their attraction growing towards each other every day, can they stay true to their promises? Will Rutvi find her person after all? Will Abeer be brave enough to give love unconditionally again?

And most importantly, will they find the family that they have been craving all their life?
