The String Between Us

At seventeen, Jaeyun leaves Seoul for Australia with nothing but a suitcase, a wounded heart, and a red string tied around his finger.

A string that has always led to Park Sunghoon.

He tells himself that leaving will make things easier. That distance will heal the words they said to each other, and perhaps, with enough time, he'll finally learn how to live without the boy at the other end of the thread.

Six years later, Jaeyun returns to Seoul as a physics professor, expecting nothing more than a new beginning.

Then, on a crowded morning train, he sees him.

Sunghoon.

Older. Familiar. Beautiful.

And the red string is still there.

But as Jaeyun slowly learns, some connections aren't as simple as fate makes them seem-and sometimes, finding your way back to someone is only the beginning.
