Illiana Madrigal - daughter of Isabela Madrigal - can grow memory flowers. One touch and you remember something you forgot... or something that hasn't happened yet. All her life, Mom wanted perfect roses. Illiana grows black dahlias with thorns.

This year, everything changes. Red and Chloe are back after rewriting time, but they look at Illiana like they've seen her before. In a memory that hasn't happened.

The new VKs have arrived: Max Hatter - Maddox Hatter's cocky, tea-flipping son, Milani Hatter - his sister and Illiana's best friend since Wonderland, Hazel Hook, Felix Facilier, Robbie Hood, and twins Squeaky & Squirmy Smee. And the new HKs: Luis Madrigal - Luisa's son, Illiana's overprotective cousin, and Pink - Red's little sister.

The courtyard is divided - HKs vs VKs, heroes vs villains. But when a memory flower blooms in the middle of their first song, Illiana sees a flash of glass shattering and Max pulling her down to save her.

Now Luis says stay away from the Hatters. Milani says follow the flower. And Max - her enemy's cousin - is the only one who calls her Lee.

Some flowers are meant to stay closed. This one just bloomed wicked.
