The Tyrant's Sacred Queen

Avalon, a white Fae witch with blonde pixie-cut hair and purple-blue eyes, dies after being betrayed by her unfaithful lover and executed due to her adopted sister's jealousy. As she dies, the tyrant vampire king Vladimir slaughters her enemies in retribution. He cradles her body, cries bloodied tears, and takes her to his castle, where he dresses her in a custom light purple gown decorated with sequined flowers and fabric butterflies before marrying her and joining her in death.

She wakes up on the day of the Husband Selection, given a second chance at life. Bypassing her previous lover, Avalon chooses Vladimir by picking up his amethyst rose ring, brushing off her sister's mockery. Miles away, Vladimir is alerted by a servant that she selected him while he finishes painting her portrait naked in his tower.

On the day the grooms retrieve their brides, Avalon's ex-lover dismisses her while boasting about her sister. His arrogance is cut short when Vladimir arrives in a grand procession with a dozen gift-filled carriages and midnight roses, her favorite flowers. Vladimir carries her off in his carriage, confessing he has been obsessed with her ever since she approached him at a gala years ago when everyone else feared him.

At his castle, Vladimir's mother warmly welcomes Avalon, showering her with gifts and dresses alongside Vladimir. Though Avalon tries to settle for a plain dress out of lingering past trauma, Vladimir and his mother lovingly insist she wear the exquisite purple butterfly dress from her past life, declaring she deserves the world. They host a grand ball in her honor, leaving Avalon feeling safe, cherished, and finally home.
