Out of Place

Seventeen year old Chihiro Natsume doesn't fit into his new home in rural Japan. Half-American, quiet, and proper, he spends his nights working the graveyard shift at a local convenience store to help him escape from family stress and earn some money.
Then Ryuto Tatsumi walks through the doors. Ryuto is six feet of trouble, complete with a bad slouch, a terrifying glare, and bleached orange hair. As the town's resident delinquent, he spends his nights roaming the streets to avoid his empty house. He expects everyone to fear him. Instead, he gets Chihiro, who nonchalantly rings up the tough guy's secret late night weakness for strawberry parfaits without batting an eye.
Under the harsh fluorescent lights of 2:00 AM, their sharp banter slowly melts into soft late-night comfort. *Out of Place* is a sweet, slow-burn Boys' Love romance about two lonely outcasts who find a home in each other when the rest of the world is asleep.
