We are trapped inside an empty shell. We know our bruises will never swell. We are silenced in this life, the took away our rights to say goodnight. Our glassy eyes are locked on you because we know what you'll do. You'll play with us until your mother says to call it a day. We cannot be free from this prison, but you are what we believe in. You helped us come to life, but now we must say goodbye.
