After nearly three years of loving Nasir, Zariah is done. She finally accepted the one thing she never wanted to admit... sometimes love just isn't enough.
Nasir was everything she wanted in a man. Loyal, hardworking, protective, and dependable, but loving a man who kept his heart locked behind walls eventually left Zariah feeling alone in a relationship meant for two. So she walked away.
Six months later, Zariah is finally learning how to live without him. Nasir on the other hand, has spent six months convincing himself that letting Zariah go was the right thing to do. Until he realizes somebody else might be taking his place.
One late night her phone lights up with the name she's been trying desperately to get over, Zariah already knows trouble has found its way back to her doorstep.
Nasir didn't come back just to reminisce, but Zariah refuses to give her heart back to a man simply because he finally realized what losing her feels like.
This time, if Nasir wants another chance, showing up won't be enough. He'll have to prove he knows how to stay.
