DDLC: One More Chapter | A Fanmade Story

Ren has known Sayori for as long as he could remember.

Their childhood friendship has always been filled with laughter, teasing, and memories-but when Ren joins the Literature Club at Sayori's invitation, he begins noticing something hidden beneath her cheerful smile.

The poems she writes are darker than she lets on. Her laughter feels forced. And the more Ren watches her, the more he realizes that his childhood friend has been carrying a pain she doesn't know how to put into words.

Then, one morning, Sayori doesn't show up.
Ren knows something is wrong. He finds her in time.

But saving Sayori's life doesn't magically make everything better. Depression doesn't disappear with a single promise, and Ren soon learns that he can't be the one to carry her pain for her.

As Sayori begins the difficult journey toward healing, strange things start happening within the Literature Club. Memories don't quite line up. Familiar events begin changing. And somewhere behind the screen, someone realizes that Sayori was never supposed to survive.

Now Ren must face a question no protagonist was ever meant to ask:

What happens when you refuse to follow the script?
