Mercy knocked on the door of the Garcia boys' bedroom with an impatient haste. Isaac, rather annoyed at the continuous rapping, opened it just enough to slip his head between it and the frame, to see who exactly was doing so. to his shock he found Mercedes Howard of all people on the other side.

"Is Lee in there?"

of course he knew that his younger brother and the girl standing in front of him rocking on her heels had become friends, but he didn't think they were that close. What did she want with him? Are they dating?!

Before he could make a reality of his own personal hell, the door he was leaning on slipped from his grasp and a now bored looking Mercy slid past him into his own bedroom, and the usually charming and well collected Isaac Garcia was left speechless, as he turned towards her now walking over to his brother with his mouth agape. he was VERY confused.

Mercy walked over to Lee who was sat against his headboard, one leg bent to prop up whatever comic book he was reading today, and she tapped him on the shoulder.

"Can i borrow your window?" she asked, as he looked away from the paper to look up at his friend.

"Yeah, sure. you can do whatever." he replied, turning back to the comic.

"Cool." she said, already walking over to the window and opening it.

"Wait, hang on," Isaac interjected. "Why didn't you just ask me, i opened the door?"

"Because WE" Mercedes said pointing between the two of them, "aren't friends."
