Their parents have been best friends for years. They grew up together, spent every holiday together, and know each other's families almost as well as their own. Percy has watched Annabeth grow up, and Annabeth has watched Percy become the person he is now. So falling for her should be impossible

But somewhere between childhood and college, something changed.
