After death, Price, Ghost, Soap, Gaz, and Roach find themselves reunited in the In-Between, where for the first time in years there are no missions, no wars, and nowhere they need to be. There, they meet Cadence Vale-a restless soul from another universe who has already spent far longer in the afterlife than any of them.
