Historical
A literary retelling of the myth of Ganymede and Zeus. Translated from French to English. Before he became the cupbearer of the gods, Ganymede was a prince. Son of King Tros and Queen Callirhoé, brother to Ilos, the future founder of Troy, and Assaracos, Ganymede grows up within a family destined to rule Dardania. The second son, he is nevertheless not the one prepared to ascend the throne. His role lies elsewhere: to support his elder brother, protect his younger one, and, one day, serve his kingdom. But Ganymede rarely looks towards the throne. From childhood, he prefers the palace gardens, the plains surrounding the kingdom, and the birds that cross the sky above them. Passionate about falconry, he learns to observe birds of prey, to understand their habits, and to earn their trust. Until the day a different eagle appears. An eagle that keeps coming back. ⋆.ೃ࿔☁︎ ݁ ˖*༄ A literary retelling of the myth of Ganymede. Translated from French to English.

"Fair skin. Sweet voice. Flat tummy. Shy and gentle." If that's the checklist for a perfect heroine, let me save your internet data. I scored a solid zero out of five. My name is Priya. I'm 25, dark-skinned, 62 kg, and have a voice so heavy that delivery boys call me "Brother" on the phone. I never expected love. I just wanted to work my government job in Madurai and live freely. But without warning, my traditional, horoscope-obsessed father dropped a bomb: I was getting married in exactly two weeks. I didn't even see the guy's face properly before the Thali was tied. Now, I am stuck with Varun-a 27-year-old child specialist doctor at Madurai GH. He has a brilliant, smooth accent, a cool attitude, and a dangerously short temper. He didn't want this marriage either. This isn't a fairy tale. It's a forced reality between two total strangers. Click "Read" to see if we survive each other.
