Side Order: Rangoon

Ran Guo has spent most of his life working behind the counter of his family's Chinese restaurant in Boston. But for those who know what they're really ordering, he goes by another name.

Rangoon.

A fixer with a reputation for making problems disappear, Ran has spent years keeping that side of his life separate from the restaurant- and especially from Lauren Baker, the beautiful event planner who's lived in the apartment upstairs for nearly twenty years.

Until one night, Lauren comes downstairs to place an order.

Three months ago, her boyfriend of four years broke up with her because it never was the right time to settle down. Three months of crying, healing, and convincing herself she was finally getting over him later, an invitation arrives in the mail.

He's getting married.

In October.

Apparently, it wasn't the wrong time.

It was the wrong woman. And suddenly, Lauren isn't interested in moving on anymore. She's interested in revenge.

Luckily, after years of picking up shifts at the Guos' restaurant, Lauren knows there's one item that has never appeared on the menu.
