The Black Sheep of Nott - Cedric Diggory

An alternative Hogwarts universe where the school is a seven-year university of advanced magic. Some timeline changes will occur, as well as ages.
Characters will begin their studies of advanced magic at 18, following schooling at other smaller schools.
This story will follow Alaya Nott, Theodore Nott's twin sister, and her time at Hogwarts where she befriends Hogwart's Golden Boy, Cedric Diggory.
Alaya Nott begins our story in a secret relationship with one of her brother's best friends, Draco Malfoy. Their relationship began while Draco stayed with the Nott family the summer before they began Hogwarts while his parents were on holiday. Can they survive the challenges of being in opposing houses, and the scrutiny that comes with the Slytherin Prince dating an unlikely Hufflepuff? Or will her proximity to Diggory alter how she views life, and jeopardize the Malfoy/Nott ties?
A Nott being sorted into any house other than Slytherin is completely unheard of, so you can imagine the displeasure her father feels upon hearing she was sorted into Hufflepuff of all houses.

This story will be a slowburn friends to lovers romance, exploring multiple different pairings.
