Three seconds was all it took to change the world.

One ordinary day, a mysterious light appeared across the sky, covering the world in an unfamiliar glow for exactly three seconds before disappearing without a trace. No one knew where it came from, why it appeared, or what happened during those three seconds. Life continued as usual, but something had changed.

Eighteen-year-old Allen has never been someone people notice. Quiet, poor, and constantly struggling against his own weaknesses, he has spent most of his school life trying to endure rather than live. At school, he is an easy target, and at home, his family struggles simply to get through each day.

Then strange incidents begin appearing around the world.

People start discovering impossible abilities. Rumors spread, fear grows, and the world begins searching for an explanation for what happened during those three seconds.

Allen wants nothing to do with any of it. He only wants his ordinary life to end-or perhaps, for everything to simply stop.

But on the day Allen reaches his breaking point, something impossible happens.

As Allen is drawn into a world that is rapidly changing, he begins to encounter people whose lives have been altered in ways no one can explain. Some will use what they have gained to help others. Others will use it for selfish reasons. And some will discover that power can reveal the darkest parts of a person.
