Parallel Lines

For Dylan Lee and Blaire Mendoza, life revolves around blueprints, structural designs, and maintaining the flawless image of their wealthy families. Despite being fifth-year Civil Engineering students, belonging to the same batch, and having classrooms right next to each other, they have never once crossed paths. For five years, they were the perfect example of parallel lines: constantly running alongside each other, but never destined to intersect.

That is, until their parents decide to merge two of the biggest engineering firms in the country. The ultimate business deal is sealed with an arranged marriage. As the "model children" who could never say no to their families, Dylan and Blaire are forced to move in together to "get to know each other" before graduation.

At first, it is nothing more than a civil agreement. Just survive the setup and keep the families happy. But there is a massive structural defect in their arrangement: Dylan is still deeply, hopelessly tethered to his ex-girlfriend. His first love. And it is painfully obvious that neither of them has moved on.

Can Blaire survive sharing a home-and a future-with a man whose heart clearly belongs to someone else? Or will this forced proximity cause their parallel lines to finally crash, even if it means destroying everything they've built?
