The Ghost of Us

THE GHOST OF US

"I promise to find you, even centuries later."

Eille thought she had everything she could ever ask for.

A loving family. A happy life. And Miguel-the boyfriend who had stayed by her side for years, the person she believed she would spend her future with.

Until one ordinary day at a museum, Eille stopped in front of a painting she had never seen before.

A girl in a wedding dress.
A boy dressed in black.
Their hands intertwined as they leapt from the edge of a cliff into a raging sea, surrounded by rain and storm.

Something about it feels familiar.

Too familiar.

That night, Eille begins dreaming of a life that isn't hers.

She sees a boy named Lucas.
She hears promises whispered through tears.
She feels the warmth of a hand she has never held.
And she remembers a love she cannot explain.

As the dreams become more vivid, Eille starts carrying a strange heaviness in her chest-especially whenever she looks at the painting or hears Lucas's name.

But Lucas is from another century.

He is supposed to be dead.

And Eille is supposed to be happy with Miguel.

Yet somewhere between the memories she never lived and the love she cannot forget, Eille begins to wonder-

What if the painting isn't just a painting?

What if it is a promise?

A promise made centuries ago by two souls who swore they would find each other again in another life.

And what if, this time, remembering Lucas means losing the life Eille has built with someone else?

Some loves end with death.
Some loves begin again with a new life.
And some promises refuse to die.
