Tommy is tired betrayal after betrayal and war after war has him teetering on the edge of just giving up. He feels like he is slipping further and further away from reality. Then the last straw comes when Tubbo exiles him despite their promise of them against the world and on top of that allows Dream the bastard who the other knows wants to manipulate him watch over him. Tommy only makes it a few weeks in exile before he runs, runs as fast and as far away from it. He doesn't even know where he ends up until Techno finds him hiding in his basement. There is only one problem, Philza and Technoblade have gone of the deep end after Wilbur's death so when they find Tommy malnourished, covered in scars, dirty, quiet and looking like he is about to join Wilbur on the other side they decide then and there that they are not losing another family member and that Tommy is staying with them no matter what the teen says. Tommy has had enough and decides that Techno was right the government needs to go.
(Before anyone comes hounding on me about the cover art yes it is AI however the writing and story on the other hand is all done by me. I can't draw for shit and I do not have the money to commission an artist if I did I would but sadly I do not. I would use art from google however there is no DSMP Syndicate Tommy art on there all are from the superhero AU. However I will say this. The art is from a prompt I made that ChatGPT brought to life no artist's art was run through ai because that is a shitty thing to do and I seriously condone anyone doing so. Just wanting you all to know. If you decide not to read the story because of the cover art being made by AI thats perfectly fine. Also this story will probably not have a happy ending I haven't decided yet. Also as you can tell by my other stories I suck at making angst so bare with me here. Tommy does get his healing arc in this and a bit of trauma as well.)
