The Ballad of Slain Deities

The realm of the faefolk, known as Ragescar, is full of many different types of magic. Each of the fae who call Ragescar home are gifted with at least one type of magic which is linked to the realm of the gods, the Celestial Realm.

There are some rare Fae who can manifest magic from all kinds of the Celestial Realm's magical classes. Those are called the Starstitch, and they are foretold to be the ones who reshape the Realms.

But the gods who currently call the Celestial Realm home do not want to be destroyed, or even simply be ripped from their thrones. Especially Hyperion, the god of the sun. He has become paranoid, brutal, and untrusting of even his own ilk. Because of this, he's not even trusting his own acolytes. However, not all of them are trustworthy for him.

Rarek Yldis is a Dawnseeker, a Sunblessed Fae (which means his magic comes from Hyperion), has asked for the help of a Starstitch named Trismoira Tregen, and her sister, Gwenlyn, who is a Crescentblade, which makes her Moonblessed (meanig her magic comes from the moon goddess, Luneth). His mission? Destroy the god of the sun, Hyperion.

Yet the sisters have their doubts, wondering if this is truly a good idea. But when Hyperion's paranoia grows, and his magic becomes erratic, chaos erupts within both Realms. And though each of the faefolk are either Sunblessed or Moonblessed, those who were under Hyperion's watchful gaze become feral, in a sense. Most of them have a desperate need to kill those who are Moonblessed, and they will stop at nothing to succeed in that endeavor...
