The way we were never just friends

Twenty-one Noa had her hands full, juggeling basketball practices, limitless study sessions, a boyfriend and her plan of perusing her career as a lawyer.
The last thing she needs is something going wrong.
But when the cracks in her relationship become impossible to ignore, part of her life begins to crumble.
And the one person that helps her the most, and confuses her heart at the same time all over again, is the last person she should be spending too much time with.
Yet she can't seem to stay away.

Blake has always been Noa's friend. Her listener. Her safe place.
And nothing more.
At least, that's what she told herself.
But somewhere between late-night conversations, basketball practices, and moments neither of them is supposed to want, friendship begins to turn into something neither Noa nor Blake knows how to control.

Noah's father is no one other than Harvards men basketball teams head coach.
Blake's coach.
And as good of a player as Blake might be, Noas father is not a fan.
Falling for one of your best friends is complicated enough, without knowing that one wrong move could cost them their friendship, Blake's future, and their friends.
