After the fall

When the apocalypse hit, Tokyo emptied overnight.
Sirens, running footsteps, slamming doors. Then nothing but silence.

𝓐𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓸 𝓣𝓼𝓾𝓴𝓲 is 17.
She has alexithymia. She can't name what she feels.
Empty, angry, annoyed,it's all the same to her.
So she watches people. She looks for the smallest flicker of emotion on their faces.
And tries to recreate it inside herself. Like if she copies it enough, she might finally feel something.

𝓢𝓮𝓸 𝓙𝓾𝓷-𝓗𝔂𝓮𝓸𝓴 is her complete opposite.
He shows up at the camp smiling, offering to help everyone.
Bright, loud, annoyingly alive.

The moment they meet, war breaks out.
Pranks, sharp comments, glares that could cut glass.
Pure rivalry.

But over time, between one prank and the next, something shifts.
A crack forms.
And through that crack, light starts to get in.
