The war never truly ended the Third Global War or the War of the Worlds was brought to a Quick and Sudden end by the detonation of a makeshift nuclear device within a dimensional portal Nexus. At least that's what everyone on the other side of the portals though. In reality, the war never ended. With the Nexus world cut off temporarily, it only bought time for the enemy to amass its powers while the trapped survivors could only struggle to survive. Ten years later, Mecum the mobile Omni environment construction monster, awakened in the rubble. No idea where he is, what's going on, or why his reactor is missing. With limited battery power and a damaged hull to fix. He must set right this world set to ruin, though that's not too far from what he was built for to begin with. Just less ideal.

Jack didn't ask to save the world. He just wanted to run his convenience store in peace. Then he woke up in a wasteland. No town. No neighbors. No Wi-Fi. Just cracked red earth, dead trees, and a voice in his head calling itself the Limitless Omniversal Supply System. The LOSS System. Jack laughed for a very long time. The system was not amused. Now he has a fully stocked store, unlimited water and electricity, and a system that's somehow both all-powerful and deeply offended by everything he says. To survive in a world where the average temperature hits 52°C, Jack will have to sell supplies, make allies, build shelter, and figure out why his little store might be the first step toward bringing a dead world back to life. One cold soda at a time.
