Things take a turn for the worse when her twin brother leaves for a college far from their small town in Virginia. Alana is left to figure out what she is to do with her life, following instructions in letters sent to her from her brother. In dire need of seeing her brother one more time before school begins, Alana flies out to his college to spend a bit of time with him and receive some much needed guidance. Have you ever had the one thing that mattered most in your life ripped out of your grasp right in front of your widened eyes? Well, this is where things all go downwards...

Left in the wake of a traumatic event, Alana is barely functioning as she ends up in the busy city of London. After discovering a note left by her superstitious twin, Alana wakes up from her daze. Slapped by reality, she begins to fend for herself, never smiling or pausing to enjoy the moment. Something forced her to stay in London, though, so she eventually gets a job at a small clothing store on a busy street. People would come and go, not noticing the broken girl in front of their very eyes. Would you notice her?

Well, let's start to bring a twist in now, shall we? Let's just say that some one finally does notice Alana, only that she doesn't want to be noticed and pitied. Join me as the story of Alana's struggles to open up and forget past tragedies unravels with a bit of a twist. The person that actually wants to help her might or might not be a famous member of One Direction. Will this mysterious stranger help her to live again? Or will she try her best to avoid help and live a long, sad live (if you could call it that)?
