Ryse (pronounced Reece):
A man with a sullied past seeks refuge from numerous enemies of the high-level districts in Nivalis. He finds employment as a courier for Cloudpunk and begins networking with various individuals in the city. But he soon realizes that some of them may be connected to the past he's trying so hard to escape.

Lyra (pronounced LEER-uh]:
Former renouned doctor of Avalon Heights, Lyra works as an illegal merchant/chemist in the lower levels providing healthcare to those who cannot afford the predatory health services Nivalis offers.

Gavin:
A tech scavenger of the Marrow, Gavin spends most of his time searching for parts from decomissioned androids, broken automata, and other undesirables. He seeks to save enough lims to one day escape life in the lower levels to earn his way above the artificial twilight.
