Paige and Lynn have been choosing each other since they were seven.

Paige had basketball. Lynn had soccer. Different fields, different dreams, same person waiting at the end of the day.

From childhood practices to middle school, from Hopkins to UConn, they grew up side by side. They survived awkward phases, impossible schedules, first heartbreaks, family problems, victories, losses, and every version of each other in between. Their friendship became the kind people stopped questioning. Paige and Lynn simply came as a pair.

And somewhere along the way, Catherine Noelle Garcia became part of that history too.

Noelle, the polished student council president with a life built around academics, leadership, and figure skating, has known them since Hopkins. She is organized where Paige is impulsive, composed where Lynn is blunt, and somehow always close enough to be tangled in their lives whether they like it or not.

Now they are seniors at UConn.

Paige is chasing one final basketball season. Lynn is facing her last year of college soccer. Noelle is balancing the weight of student government, the ice, and a future that seems perfectly planned from the outside.

For Paige and Lynn, senior year is supposed to be about making the most of what they have left.

More late-night dinners. More showing up at each other's games. More terrible apartment notes. More drives with nowhere important to go. More time together before adulthood finally demands that they stop living within walking distance of the person who has known them almost their entire life.

But growing up has a habit of changing familiar things.

Especially people
