Jace has always admired Midnight from afar, stealing glances at her during class and at the cafeteria. He watches from a distance as she slowly fades away, starving herself to death and now lookin from afar just doesn't cut it anymore. He reaches out to her and tries to get her some help but Midnight isn't so willing.

She thinks Jace does not understand what she's going through and doesn't see why he's fusing so much...until she finds out that Jace has an even bigger secret than she does.
