Before the Woods Remember

When her ten-year-old sister, Lily, walks out into the dense, fog-choked forests of rural Wales, Madison drops everything to bring her home. The local villagers whisper terrifying warnings about boundary markers and ancient debts, but Madison relies on logic-refusing to buy into their folk-horror superstitions.

Except, as she tracks Lily deeper into the timber, the cracks in reality start to show. Lily isn't lost, and she isn't cold. She is something ancient, patient, and inhuman, playing out the final phase of a ten-year cycle. And the further Madison goes into the dark, the more she realizes she wasn't brought here to save her sister. She was brought here to be erased.
