Arunika: Into the Woods

Seven university friends.
One semester break.
One village they know almost nothing about.

After months of assignments, exams, and the exhausting rhythm of city life, Irza and her friends decide to spend their semester break somewhere far away from the noise.

Their destination is Kampung Arunika-a quiet village hidden between mountains and a vast forest. It seems like the perfect escape: peaceful scenery, friendly locals, traditional food, waterfalls, and enough distance from the city to forget about university for a while.

At first, the trip is everything they hoped for.

There are late-night conversations, ridiculous arguments, embarrassing moments, new friendships, and perhaps a little romance that nobody wants to admit.

But the villagers seem strangely cautious whenever the forest is mentioned.

There's only one rule they keep repeating:

Don't enter the forest after sunset.

Naturally, the friends joke about it.

They've seen enough horror movies to know where this is going.

Until one day, curiosity-and a little bad luck-leads them into the forest with two local guides.

Something happens.

One of the villagers disappears.

The others barely make it back.

And from that moment on, the forest doesn't feel like a forest anymore.

Something is watching them.

Something that knows their names.

Something that can sound like someone they trust.

As strange events begin to unfold around Kampung Arunika, the seven friends are forced to uncover the truth behind the village, its forbidden forest, and the stories the locals have kept hidden for generations.

But the deeper they dig, the more they realize that some stories were never meant to be discovered.

Because in Kampung Arunika...

the forest remembers everyone who enters.
