Somewhere along the way

After her parents' divorce forces her to leave everything she knows behind, Mia moves to Lima, Ohio, and starts over at McKinley High.

New school. New people. New routines.

At first, Mia is just trying to find her place. She doesn't expect to become part of something as chaotic, complicated and unexpected as McKinley's Glee Club, or to slowly find herself surrounded by people who begin to feel like friends.

And then there's Finn Hudson.

At first, he's just another face in the hallway. They barely know each other, and neither of them has any reason to think that will change. But as Mia becomes more involved with Glee Club and starts finding her place at McKinley, their paths begin crossing more often.

What starts as strangers gradually becomes friendship, built through ordinary conversations, shared jokes, awkward moments and simply getting to know one another.

But sometimes, somewhere along the way, friendship starts to become something neither person expected.

Set in the world of Glee, Somewhere along the way follows Mia's starting at McKinley as she finds new friendships, navigates the chaos of high school, discovers where she belongs, and slowly learns that starting over doesn't always mean leaving everything behind.
