Leilani Zamora Belmont is a 23 year old shut in who after a traumatic night out, has been afraid to go out ever since, even going so far as to change her schooling to become fully remote. With the help of her best friends, siblings, Sean Amir Carter Jr. and Zora Ruby Carter she's been slowly coming out of her shell more, agreeing to go out to the local lounge Red Door and meeting the siblings new friend Estella.

Joseph Alexander Martinez works as a bartender at the local lounge, Red Door. Joseph's last relationship ended in heartbreak and ever since he's sworn off relationships opting for casual flings. However, deep down Joseph wants to experience a love like no other and longs for the day to call someone his own. Jorden Jamel Monroe also known as Bear to his family, is a soft spoken man who owns a car dealership. He keeps to himself, taking care of his mother, Victoria Elise Monroe and his doberman puppy named Cat. One day his best friend Corey Ahmad Chance invites him out to finally meet his new girlfriend, Zora at the local lounge Red Door. After months of Jorden saying no he finally agrees and after a long day at work he goes with his friend to meet his new girlfriend.
