Everyone says Y/n Stark is just like her father, but she's never been sure whether that's a compliment.
At Midtown, life is easy. She has MJ, her best friend and fellow professional people-avoider, until two academic decathlon nerds named Peter and Ned somehow turn their duo into four. For once, Y/n has something that has nothing to do with Tony Stark.
Then she finds out Peter is the intern. The same mysterious kid consuming more and more of her father's time. The kid Tony praises, worries about, and seems to have endless time for. Everything Y/n has spent her life trying to earn.
So Y/n does what Starks do best when something hurts and she finds a way to make it hurt less.
Then she disappears for five years. When she comes back, the world has moved on without her, and Y/n is about to discover that she inherited far more from Tony Stark than his name.
