9Valkyries

Kim Aria grew up in her elder sister's shadow. She was constantly compared to Jennie to the point that when Jennie became a trainee under YG entertainment at the age of 14, their parents decided that they wanted two idols in the family, so they gave Aria to YG at the age of 7. Aria's parents were far more invested in Jennie's career than Aria's; to the point that at the age of 10 her parents signed a contract giving YG full custody of Aria in order to shape her into an idol like her elder sister. Because of this Aria learned how to shut off her emotions. Jennie made it her mission to look after Aria as much as she could and the other Blackpink members helped her. Before they debuted, Lisa made sure to introduce Aria to one of her good friends, Bahng Christopher Chahn also known as Bang Chan. Bang Chan had become a father-like figure in Aria's life which led to her getting closer with his potential band mates. This resulted in a strong relationship to form between the future 9Valkyries and the future Stray Kids before they debuted. Both groups debuted in 2018, Stray Kids in March and 9Valkyries in October. The two stayed close and tight knit to the point that the Maknaes were beginning to have feelings for each other. I.N. and Aria began to grow closer, and Aria had finally found someone who understood her for who she was and they didn't want to change her or mold her into someone else. I.N. became the rock in Aria's life that she could come to whenever her anxiety and panic attacks would come or when her anxiety was eating her alive.
