Hyunjin and Felix were each other's greatest love - the kind that feels written in the stars, the kind no one ever really recovers from. Hyunjin and Felix had seven years of it. Seven years of shared hoodies, late-night drives, quiet mornings, and a love so steady they both thought it would outlast everything.

Until Hyunjin had to leave.

His family was moving to the States. The night he broke the news, the air in their apartment shattered. "I can't do long-distance, Felix," he'd said, voice trembling, tears in his eyes. "I won't let us become something distant and broken." Felix had begged - pleaded, clung to him, promising they'd make it work - but Hyunjin's mind was set. With one last, heartbreaking look, he left. No promises, no goodbyes that felt like enough. Just silence.

Three years later.

Felix rebuilt his life. He opened a warm, cozy bakery downtown - golden bread, sweet pastries, flour always dusted on his hands - with his two best friends, Han Seungmin and I.N. They were his family, his constant, the ones who helped him piece himself back together. He was busy, he was loved, he was happy... mostly. But some nights, when the bakery went quiet, he'd still feel that empty space - the one shaped like Hyunjin.

Then one random, rainy night.

Felix was locking up the shop, tired but calm, when his phone lit up on the counter.

Hyunjin.

His breath caught. The name he hadn't seen in three years. The name he'd stopped himself from searching for a thousand times. His hands shook as he stared at it - What if I don't answer? What if I do?

He answered.
