My blankets were snow covered and frozen stiff. My house was falling in on itself. The windows were busted out and the door was completely gone, a gaping black hole staring out into the night where it used to be. Snow blew in through every available crevasse with each gust of wind. Not comprehending what I'm seeing, I told myself I was still dreaming, but the cold felt real enough and my lungs screamed with every breath.

Alma was tired of her life. She was middle aged, fat with so many problems. She married her husband young and love bloomed. He was her one and only and she still loved him after spending 25 years with him. Alma longed to change her life, get fit, eat well and spend more time enjoying life with her husband. She battles with anxiety and depression, she is herself worst enemy. One day she decides to go out for a walk, something she has not done in years, she is feeling proud of herself but she did not prepare well enough, there was icing on the path and she slipped and fell hard, when Alma finally wakes up she is not home, she in a forest and it's hot. What is going on, where is she? Alma is very kind but she is a people pleaser, she has very low self esteem, deep depression and bad anxiety. she loves animals and can't bear to hurt an animal. This is her journey on making her a stronger but most of all journey to learn to love and heal herself.
