Vivienne's existence came at a really bad time for her parents. With her mother having an affair and her father being a neglectful husband and father, her mother's pregnancy was the last thing either of them wanted.
After a paternity test confirmed her to be the daughter of the struggling couple and not a product of the affair, the two adults agreed he would provide for her but not a single soul would know of her relation to him-not even her six brothers. Her father wanted no reminder of that time of his life.
The youngest Clement does everything possible to hide from her brothers, but when their father dies they do everything to uncover their father's secrets. Including Vivienne.
