Cross and Killer secretly sneak into King Dream's royal masquerade ball without invitations. They are almost caught by the guards, but Dream and Nightmare intervene and dismiss the guards' suspicions.
Instead of punishing them, the two kings reveal that they knew the pair were sneaking around. Killer is even caught holding a stolen pastry, which leads to a humorous moment. Dream decides to allow them to stay as his guests, while Nightmare warns them not to sneak in again.
As the ball continues, Cross becomes curious about why the two kings were so willing to protect them-and what might happen when their identities are eventually revealed.

But rare it is for a God to ever do more than just that. for some Gods, falling inlove and marrying a mortal was unheard of, very uncommon, a mortal and a God may never bare children or fall inlove as some say it is forbidden. Nightmare finds himself in this predicament, a mortal guard catching his eye, he couldn't help but grow fond of this mortal. Cross never thought he'd ever catch the eye of a God, especially one like Nightmare, scared but stubborn, Cross tried to balance his life.

Shadow Milk cant stop thinking about these ruby eyes.... he soon understands his love for White Lily and is willing to do anything to keep her happy and safe. So, under the disguise of using her as bait, he kidnaps her. Lily doesn't like it at first but Shadow Milk changes that. The ancients have some big feelings about this situation, none of them good...
