Paige Bueckers and Finley Brooks have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Even when basketball took Paige to UConn and dance took Finley to LSU, nothing ever managed to pull them apart. What Finley doesn't know is that Paige has been in love with her since high school-and Paige has no idea Finley started falling for her during her sophomore year of college. When Paige gets drafted to Texas, Finley moves with her, and the two best friends get an apartment together. Suddenly, years of hidden feelings are a lot harder to ignore when they're sharing a home, stealing each other's clothes, spending every night together, and basically acting like a couple without realizing it. They've spent years being each other's person. Now they just have to figure out that maybe they were never meant to be just best friends.

Paige Bueckers has one problem. She needs a date for the ESPYS. Arabella St. James has one of her own. She needs to convince her wealthy, impossible-to-please family that she's finally moved on from the ex who broke her heart. A simple deal is made. One glamorous night. One set of rules. One fake relationship. Easy... until neither of them is ready to let it end. What starts as a carefully planned arrangement quickly becomes months of shared flights, late-night phone calls, family holidays, college basketball games, red carpets, and pretending a little too well. Somewhere between the staged kisses, stolen glances, and convincing everyone else they're in love, they begin wondering if they're the only two who haven't admitted the truth. Set during Paige's junior year at UConn, *Fake Dating* is a slow-burn romance about finding love where you least expect it, discovering that home can be a person, and realizing that sometimes the best relationships are the ones that were never supposed to be real.
