The Vampire Diaries: After It Was All Over

What happens when the greatest love story in Mystic Falls finally gets a chance at a normal life?

After years of curses, vampires, heartbreak, and impossible sacrifices, Elena Gilbert finally wakes from her enchanted sleep-and discovers that Damon Salvatore is no longer a vampire.

He's human.

Stefan's ultimate sacrifice gave Damon the one thing he never believed he deserved: a mortal life with Elena. Together, they leave behind the chaos of Mystic Falls and begin building something neither of them ever thought they could have-a home, a career, a family, and a future.

Elena becomes a doctor, determined to heal the people of the town that once nearly destroyed her life. Damon trades his vampire strength for grease-stained hands, an old Camaro, and the quiet happiness he once believed was impossible.

But their story doesn't end with becoming human.

Years later, their greatest legacy is born: Stefanie Salvatore, their daughter and the namesake of the brother who gave Damon his second chance.

As Stefanie grows up surrounded by the supernatural world her parents tried to leave behind, she begins discovering that being a Salvatore comes with its own destiny.

The Salvatore Boarding School becomes part of her life. Old friends become family. New secrets begin to surface. And somewhere between Mystic Falls, her parents' complicated past, and the supernatural legacy running through her bloodline, Stefanie must decide what kind of future she wants.

Because Damon and Elena may have escaped the darkness...

But the darkness never completely forgot about them.

This is a story about second chances, family, sacrifice, growing older, and a love that survived everything the supernatural world could throw at it.

Their story didn't end when it was all over.
It was only the beginning.
