Moving in with my Uncle Charlie was supposed to be my official break from supernatural nonsense. No quests. No prophecies. No three-headed monsters trying to chew my face off. Just endless rain, a lumpy couch, and a shot at a high school diploma, before I can go to New Rome college with Annabeth.

Now I'm stuck in the middle of a local cold war, acting as a human barrier between a boy who radiates freezer-drafts and a boy who radiates steam. I'm doing my absolute best to keep my demigod powers under wraps, but between cliff-diving cousins and ancient Italian vampire hit-squads, my patience is wearing thin-and my cover is threatening to blow.
