Sunkissed Promises || Woosan (ENG)

"You don't speak Korean, right?" San asked.
"Just a little..." Wooyoung replied, glancing at the other kids playing nearby. San understood everything, without needing any other words.

San is a 9 year old rich city boy, who visits his grandmother in the countryside each summer. One day, he encounters a kid who seems to be around his age, but doesn't speak much.
San has always felt different from other kids, and hated seeing someone get left out, because he could see himself in them, reason why he wanted to befriend everyone. So, he made sure to do that with Wooyoung too.
The two become inseparable, until eventually everything changes.
San can only hold on to the words Wooyoung had said to him, even through the frenzy of the city. Hoping that someday, he'd get to hear them from that one boy who made him dream in those endless countryside fields.
And maybe, a simple café in Seoul will answer all his questions.
