Save Me From Us | Ongoing

Sometimes the only hero who can save your heart from shattering isn't anybody but you.

Malachi "Kai" Carbonel finds himself thrown into the midst of gender and sexuality discrimination, extended family feuds, and a midlife crisis after graduating from college with no definite plans. With no intention of adding another chagrin to his series of everyday mishaps, romance is no exemption. Not until Maverick "Mavy" Imperial happened.

An ideal derived from actuality, Mavy is enigmatically alluring, thoughtful, and maybe even a little cheeky, despite his bashful exterior. He's also a gentleman and has an entire soft spot for Kai. A total knight in shining armor in disguise. Kai couldn't take him out of his head, but he was utterly getting in Mavy's way to his guarded heart.

As the blossoming relationship arises between Kai and Mavy, so are thoughts of Keith Aranda-Kai's first love and a reminder of what maimed his perception of romance. He was Kai's haven-his savior-yet somehow ended up being his greatest downfall. When Keith reappears and starts threatening everything Kai built with Mavy, Kai must save himself and not dive into the same uncertainty he had been through before-where a wolf in sheep's clothing awaits to devour a love that was never meant for anybody but for himself.
