When a series of brutal murders begins targeting American citizens across different countries, the FBI's International Response Team is called in. Jack Garrett, Matt Simmons, Mae Jarvis, Russ "Monty" Montgomery, and Clara Seger are sent around the world to stop a killer who seems to have no limits-and no preferred country.

But Clara isn't the only Seger working the case.

Her husband, Brad Seger, is an FBI agent assigned to the BAU, and his team has been quietly profiling the same killer from the United States. When the IRT and BAU realize their cases are connected, the two teams must work together before another victim is found.

As the murders spread from country to country, the teams discover a terrifying pattern: every victim is connected to the FBI in some way.
