Twenty-three trainees.
One dream.
Seven places.
And countless sacrifices.
In 2020, twenty-three boys entered I-LAND with the same goal-to become idols.
Among them was Nishimura Riki, a fourteen-year-old trainee from Japan who had spent years working towards his dream.
He came to I-LAND expecting competition.
He expected pressure.
He expected tears.
What he didn't expect was Yang Jungwon.
At first, Jungwon was just another trainee.
Someone he had to compete against.
Someone he barely knew.
But as the days passed, they began spending more time together-practising until late at night, comforting each other after difficult evaluations, and quietly becoming each other's safe place.
The closer they became, the harder it was to ignore the feelings growing between them.
But I-LAND wasn't a place where they could afford distractions.
Every week brought another test.
Another ranking.
Another possibility of being separated.
And neither of them knew if they would even debut together.
