The Spider Next Door

Felicia Hardy has spent years running from the past.

Born into a wealthy New York family, she grew up believing her father was simply a successful businessman. She was wrong. Walter Hardy was a dangerous criminal operative, and when his secret life finally destroyed their family, Felicia lost everything. Her mother and younger brother were killed by the one person she should have been able to trust-and Felicia barely escaped with her life.

At seventeen, she became an orphan. At eighteen, she left everything behind.

But Felicia refused to remain the broken girl who survived that night.

Years of relentless training transformed her into "Black Cat", a mysterious vigilante who operates in the shadows. Skilled, fearless and impossible to predict, she takes on criminals, corrupt organizations and dangerous missions-including occasional jobs for the government.

Still, almost no one knows who she really is.

Until she moves to Queens.

There, Felicia's quiet life takes an unexpected turn when she begins crossing paths with New York's most famous masked hero: **Spider-Man**.

Sometimes she arrives first.

Sometimes he does.

And sometimes Black Cat leaves him wondering how she managed to defeat an entire group of criminals before he even arrived.

As videos of her exploits spread and the city begins comparing the two heroes, Black Cat's mysterious reputation starts turning into something much bigger.
