Tony is broken. He lost his friends, nearly lost Rhodey and was starting to lose himself. He thought Tiberius Stone would be his saviour. Someone to love and someone to be loved by.

When he finally reunites with his former friends, things are icy until The Avengers meet Lindy Jay, the mute little girl who now calls Tony's penthouse home, when she can't reach Tony in the lab.

Maybe The Avengers could get together one last time and pull Tony back together before he breaks completely.

A lot of triggers in this because clearly I enjoyed torturing Tony Stark a bit too much (sorry not sorry): abuse, sexual assault/rape, eating issues, alcoholism, angst.

But to counter this, I promise Lindy is the cutest thing I've ever written and she gets along swimmingly with Alpine :)
